Johnson & Johnson Vision is recruiting a Production Supervisor for its manufacturing site in Jacksonville, Florida. You will lead daily production activities to deliver safe, compliant, high-quality products on schedule and at the required cost.

The role focuses on people leadership, Lean improvements, and cross‑functional partnership to meet safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Business, Operations Management or related field.
• Minimum of four years of manufacturing experience in a regulated environment.
• Previous team leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Medical device/pharma or other highly regulated industry experience preferred.
• Strong English communication and leadership, coaching, and team-building skills.
• Knowledge of GMP, quality systems, and FDA requirements; ISO 13485 preferred.

Responsabilités

• Lead daily manufacturing operations to achieve safety, quality, delivery, cost, productivity, and employee-engagement objectives.
• Plan production activities, establish priorities, assign resources, and adjust staffing or workflow to meet the schedule.
• Provide visible floor leadership by monitoring operations and escalation of risks.
• Coach and develop employees with clear expectations and regular feedback.
• Build an inclusive, accountable team culture with collaboration and communication.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, quality systems, and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor performance metrics and drive corrective actions.
• Investigate safety, quality, and operational issues; support root-cause analysis.
• Partner with Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, Materials, Planning, HR to resolve constraints.
• Drive Lean, standard work, visual management, and waste reduction.
• Support new product introductions, process transfers, and equipment qualification.
• Maintain training, attendance, performance, and compliance records; report shift results.
