Job summary

Johnson & Johnson Surgical Vision Inc. in Jacksonville seeks a Senior Manager to lead Engineering and technology activities for the Implant manufacturing site. The role drives capital projects, process development, and cross‑functional collaboration to improve product quality and efficiency.

You will shape the site engineering roadmap, leverage Lean/Six Sigma, and ensure compliance with GMP and Quality System requirements while partnering with global Implant Platform Engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Science, or a related subject area.
• Minimum of eight years of relevant business experience, including at least five years in a life sciences industry such as medical devices, biotechnology, or pharmaceuticals.
• Experience with leadership of multifunctional engineering teams in an FDA‑regulated or comparable environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a pipeline of manufacturing strategies and technologies that improve product quality, manufacturing cost, and operational efficiency for new and existing products.
• Establish and govern a manufacturing equipment asset management program covering the full asset life cycle, from specification through obsolescence.
• Apply Lean and Six Sigma methods to improve throughput, yield, reliability, availability, and total cost of ownership of manufacturing equipment and production OT systems.
• Own and lead site engineering technology roadmap that enable transformational process development.
