Job summary

MasterBrand, the largest residential cabinet manufacturer in North America, seeks a Manufacturing Supervisor to oversee daily production operations, ensuring safety, quality, productivity, and employee engagement goals are achieved. This role supervises production teams, coordinates workflow, and drives continuous improvement initiatives throughout the manufacturing process.

The position requires strong leadership, a focus on safety, and experience in a high-volume setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Business, Engineering or related field preferred.
• 3–5 years of manufacturing experience required.
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of production employees.
• Ensure production schedules are met while maintaining quality standards and operational efficiency.
• Promote and enforce all safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor employee performance and provide coaching, training, and corrective action when necessary.
• Conduct shift meetings and communicate production goals, performance expectations, and company updates.
• Investigate and resolve production issues, equipment concerns, and quality defects.
• Collaborate with Maintenance, Quality, Engineering, Human Resources, and other departments to support plant objectives.
• Monitor labor utilization, attendance, overtime, and staffing needs.
• Analyze production metrics and implement corrective actions to improve productivity and reduce waste.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean Manufacturing and problem-solving activities.
• Maintain accurate production records, reports, and documentation including timecards daily.
• Participate in employee development, succession planning, and performance evaluations.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, environmental regulations, and applicable labor laws.
• Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, accountability, and employee engagement.
