Job summary

You will supervise, plan, analyze, and apply Lean principles to drive reliability and consistency in the manufacturing process.

The role requires cross-functional collaboration, strong decision-making, and the ability to translate metrics into improvements while adhering to standard procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years production, supply chain or leadership experience
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams in a highly regulated manufacturing environment
• Demonstrated ability to identify and implement best practices and deal with high levels of ambiguity
• Strong decision-making skills
• Demonstrated ability to act independently using good judgement and discretion
• Strong computer skills, specifically Microsoft Office suite, and standard ERP systems

Responsibilities

• Lead Compliance and Environmental, Health & Safety efforts in support of plant goals
• Oversight and management of front-line manufacturing employees, including hiring, development, and discipline
• Monitor and improve productivity while meeting customer commitments and quality standards
• Drive LEAN manufacturing implementation and sustain/improve efforts
• Collaborate with other managers to generate continuous improvement ideas and implement bottom-line improvements
• Track and report metrics such as labor hours, work orders, inventory accuracy, throughput, and capacity
• Area training ownership with training plans to maximize workforce capability and compliance
• Coordinate with PTLs to ensure alignment across manufacturing
