This role requires strong leadership, a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency to meet production goals. You will plan staffing, mentor supervisors, and implement Lean and 5S initiatives while collaborating with the Manufacturing Manager to resolve issues and drive performance across shifts.

Responsabilidades

• Directs and coordinates activities of production personnel to process materials or manufacture products.
• Establishes staffing plans and work assignments to meet business needs.
• Promotes a safe workplace and resolves unsafe practices.
• Ensures staff are trained in operations and procedures.
• Supports 5S, cleanliness, safety audits, and Lean initiatives.
• Develops leadership in production supervisors and coordinators through coaching and mentoring.
• Fosters open, honest communication and escalates issues to the Manufacturing Manager.
• Ensures company policies are followed and guidelines are applied.
• Identifies opportunities to reduce cost, improve quality, and decrease lead times while improving machine utilization and efficiencies.
• Participates actively in NCR, CAR, Lean, and Safety programs for plant improvement.
• Performs other duties as needed.
