Job summary

MacLean Power Systems, a leading manufacturer of engineered components for the electric utility sector, onsite in Bessemer, Alabama, seeks an experienced Production Supervisor. You will lead a diverse team, drive continuous improvement, and ensure safety, quality, and on-time production in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires strong operational leadership, expertise in advanced manufacturing processes, proficiency with ERP (JD Edwards) and WMS, and a commitment to 5S, compliance, and

Qualifications

• Accreditation from a recognized technical school or skilled trades program.
• 3+ years of progressive experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience leading diverse teams with autonomy and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and mentorship to a team of production workers.
• Identify operational challenges and implement solutions to improve productivity.
• Analyze production metrics and adjust processes to meet schedules and quality goals.
• Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, and supply chain teams to resolve issues.
• Ensure documentation is completed accurately and on time, including reports and audits.
• Champion 5S and promote a safe working environment with audits and training.
• Ensure compliance with Safety, Environmental, and Quality policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
