Job summary

MacDermid Alpha Electronics Solutions, a business segment of Element Solutions, seeks a Production Supervisor to lead daily manufacturing operations and drive operational excellence.

You will coach teams, manage workflows, ensure safety and quality compliance, and collaborate with Quality, Maintenance, Planning and Warehouse to sustain 5S and continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership in manufacturing with safety and quality focus.
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail.
• Proficient in MS Office and production reporting tools.
• Knowledge of Lean principles including 5S and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise production teams to achieve safety, quality, and efficiency targets
• Plan, coordinate, and monitor workflow to align staffing and resources with production schedules
• Ensure strict adherence to safety policies, EHS standards, quality requirements, and regulatory compliance
• Drive communication and accountability through tier meetings, shift start-up meetings, and performance reviews
• Coach, develop, and support team members through training, feedback, and performance management
• Address attendance, behavioral, and performance concerns in alignment with company policies
• Troubleshoot production issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective/preventive actions
• Monitor KPIs, analyze trends, and lead continuous improvement initiatives (safety, quality, delivery, efficiency)
• Promote and sustain 5S, waste reduction, and process standardization efforts
• Ensure proper equipment use, maintenance coordination, and timely escalation of issues
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Quality, Maintenance, Planning, and Warehouse teams
• Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant manufacturing environment
• Document production activities, complete shift reports, and ensure accurate system transactions
• Support hiring, onboarding, and workforce planning efforts as needed
• Perform additional duties to support business operations as required
