Job summary

TOP TALENT RECRUITER client in Montgomery, AL seeks a Production Manager to lead safety, quality, and productivity. You will drive lean initiatives, schedule and coordinate manufacturing activities, and collaborate with QA, design, sales, and HR to meet production goals and compliance.

Strong leadership, communication, and SAP/Excel skills are required, with willingness to work overtime during peak periods. This role demands hands-on problem solving and a commitment to 3C5S in all processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; includes leadership in manufacturing
• Experience in manufacturing environment including automotive/electrical preferred
• Proven ability to maintain professionalism under pressure and manage overtime during holidays/shutdowns

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and complete work to support manufacturing activities within budget and regulatory requirements
• Apply lean manufacturing knowledge to reduce costs and improve efficiency
• Direct and control activities of supervisors to meet plant objectives
• Coordinate with quality, design, sales, customer service, finance and HR to meet production, quality and compliance requirements
• Develop manufacturing plans and supporting services to attract and retain customers
• Promote safety and safe working practices in all production operations and ensure OSHA compliance
• Lead 3C5S implementation across processes
