Job summary

US1668 FreshPoint Bix Produce Company, LLC is seeking a Production Supervisor to plan, schedule and direct the production operations department to meet productivity, safety, quality, delivery and cost goals, and ensure the department operates according to established company policies and procedures.

The role involves direct and indirect supervision of production and material handling teams, managing performance, applying lean methods (5S, Kaizen, Kanban), and enforcing SOPs while coordinating

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• 3-5 years of manufacturing experience.
• Excellent communication (verbal and written) and strong reading/comprehension skills.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business information and write reports.

Responsibilities

• Direct, coordinate and monitor daily activities of production associates to ensure productivity, quality, safety and cost objectives.
• Direct, coordinate and monitor material handling and labor performance.
• Manage employee performance, motivation and development; conduct evaluations and corrective actions.
• Meet production goals and maintain inventory levels using WMS.
• Lead safety training and develop SOPs; participate in lean initiatives (5S, Kaizen, Kanban).
