Job summary

FreshPoint, Inc. is seeking a Production Supervisor to plan, schedule and direct the production operations team in Georgia. The role focuses on achieving productivity, safety, quality, delivery and cost targets while upholding company policies.

You will lead daily production activities, manage staffing and overtime, and drive lean initiatives to improve performance across the department. Strong leadership and communication are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of manufacturing experience.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities to manage a production team.

Responsibilities

• Direct and monitor daily activities of production associates to ensure productivity, quality, and safety.
• Oversee material handling area performance for direct and indirect labor.
• Develop, mentor and evaluate staff; take corrective actions per policy.
• Lead pre-shift meetings and communicate policy changes, safety updates and improvement ideas.
• Assist in staff selection, evaluations and terminations as needed.
• Plan line assignments and staffing based on priorities; manage overtime.
• Ensure adherence to SOPs and lean practices (5S, Kaizen, Kanban).
• Maintain inventory using the WMS and review production documentation.
• Coordinate safety training and work with safety to investigate incidents.
