Matrix Adhesives Group in Durham, NC seeks a Production Supervisor to lead a manufacturing team, drive continuous improvement, and ensure safe, on-time production of quality adhesives. The role requires coaching, technical leadership, and hands-on involvement as needed.

Responsibilities include planning, staffing, and reviewing performance, while leveraging MRP data and Lean practices to optimize productivity and inventory.

Formación

• 2+ years of manufacturing leadership experience.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Intermediate-Advanced Excel skills: pivot tables, v-lookups, formulas.
• Experience using MRP systems (JD Edwards preferred).
• Proven metric-driven experience with inventory management.
• Experience developing metric-driven execution strategies to reach goals.
• Demonstrated success guiding a team to meet objectives.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to read regulatory language, safety rules, and manuals.
• Flexible schedule to meet production demand.
• Able to adjust processes to maintain quality and deadlines.
• Highly organized and capable of multi-tasking.
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.

Responsabilidades

• Ensures a safe and clean work environment by educating personnel on equipment, resources, and 5S practices.
• Conducts daily standup meetings to communicate safety, quality, and delivery goals.
• Plans, monitors, and evaluates job results; coaches and disciplines as needed.
• Acts as hands-on contributor supervisor when required.
• Uses MRP data to plan and track inventory and production activity.
• Recruits, orients, and trains staff to support growth.
• Schedules and assigns personnel to complete production plans via Lean Daily Management.
• Maintains quality by enforcing organization standards.
• Develops and revises systems and procedures to drive continuous improvement.
• Investigates issues, identifies solutions, and implements corrective actions.
• Manages employee timecards in Paycom.
• Performs other related duties as required.
