Job summary

Badger Meter is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead hourly manufacturing teams, drive safety, quality, and on‑time delivery across multiple departments. You will coach staff, manage daily production activities, and champion continuous improvement initiatives.

The role requires a hands-on leader with a strong focus on safety, accountability, and team development to sustain operational excellence and meet production goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Operations, or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of manufacturing or operations experience.
• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise hourly manufacturing employees to maximize productivity, quality, and safety.
• Communicate production goals and updates to employees and leadership.
• Monitor daily operations, staffing, equipment utilization, and workflow to meet schedules.
• Analyze operational metrics and implement solutions to improve efficiency and performance.
• Utilize manufacturing systems for production scheduling, materials management, and reporting.
• Identify and resolve production issues involving materials, equipment, quality, and processes.
• Support Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, policies, and labor agreements.
• Conduct performance evaluations, manage attendance, and support employee development and training.
