Job summary

The Production Supervisor role leads hourly staff across manufacturing departments, ensuring efficient operations, safety, and continuous improvement within a union Milwaukee setting.

You will supervise, coach, and develop team members, drive lean practices, and collaborate with management to meet production goals while maintaining quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering or a related field desired.
• 5+ years of related operations supervisory experience desired.
• Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) required.
• CPR and First Aid training or ability to obtain it.
• Strong critical thinking and quick decision-making skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision to hourly employees in a manufacturing environment (union Milwaukee only) and manage workflow.
• Train direct reports and transfer knowledge for effective operations.
• Communicate with management to improve procedures and set goals.
• Monitor manufacturing operations using metrics to ensure schedules and efficiency.
• Utilize manufacturing software for materials management and floor scheduling.
• Develop lean solutions and initiate corrective actions for problems.
