Job summary

Badger Meter is hiring a Production Supervisor to directly supervise hourly staff across multiple manufacturing departments. You will ensure efficient operations aligned with quality standards and production schedules, while maintaining organized processes for improved efficiency.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 5+ years of supervisory experience, with knowledge of safety data sheets and CPR/First Aid training or willingness to obtain.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of operations/ supervisory experience.
• Familiar with Material Safety Data Sheets.
• CPR and First Aid training or ability to obtain.
• Strong critical thinking and quick decision making.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Supervise hourly employees in a manufacturing environment (union Milwaukee only) and manage workflow to ensure guidance and coaching.
• Communicate knowledge to direct reports for training purposes.
• Coordinate with managers on operating conditions and suggest improvements.
• Set goals and communicate objectives to the operations team.
• Monitor manufacturing operations using metrics and floor presence to ensure schedules and utilization.
• Ensure safety compliance and administer disciplinary actions when necessary.
• Develop and implement training programs for new and existing employees.
