Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee daily production activities across two portable plants in Colorado, ensuring uninterrupted supply and on-time delivery while fostering a strong safety culture.

You will work closely with the Plant Manager and hourly workforce to enhance efficiencies, manage Capex submissions for Colorado Front Range Aggregates, and maintain inventory levels in SAP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 5 years of equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of experience in supervisor/leadership role.
• Strong written and verbal communication; proficiency in Microsoft Office; SAP experience helpful.

Responsibilities

• Supervises, coordinates and monitors plant activities to include the maintenance of equipment.
• Supports and assists personnel in achieving timely and efficient production schedules.
• Investigates abnormal operating events, or equipment failures to determine the cause, and makes adjustments, repairs and/or modifications, as needed.
• Performs daily inspections on the plant.
• Ensures conformance with policies and procedures, safety regulations, and local, State and Federal laws and regulations.
• Analyzes operational data and reconfigures operating areas as necessary to provide adequate, economical service.
• Oversees the overall safety of all personnel working at, or visiting the site.
• Ensures proper documentation of operations activities in logs and/or incident reports.
• Maintains an effective system of communications with supervisors and customers service.
• Facilitates regular staff meetings and safety toolbox talks.
• Regularly communicates Company financial goals and objectives to direct reports, and ensures they are performing activities daily that support those goals.
• Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.
