Job summary

Graham Packaging Company in York, PA is hiring a Production Supervisor for day shift, 7am–7pm on a 2/2/3 schedule. You will supervise hourly staff, ensure safety, quality and lean manufacturing practices while driving productivity and cost control.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent with at least two years of supervisory experience in manufacturing, strong communication, teamwork and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and/or related operations experience, or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years’ supervisory or management experience in manufacturing with leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise hourly employees across all production phases including safety, quality, and housekeeping.
• Manage shift functions: training, performance, inventory, and adherence to company policies.
• Resolve production and quality issues on shift and document decisions for CQI.
• Lead shift meetings, coordinate staffing, and monitor machine utilization to meet efficiency goals.
• Collaborate with managers, vendors, and customers to support operations.
