Job summary

IDEX is seeking a Production Supervisor for the Day Shift in a clean-room manufacturing environment in Brenham, TX. You will direct and develop operators, lead shift activities, and ensure adherence to SOPs while driving safety, quality, and throughput improvements.

You will supervise Production Leads, manage staffing, and collaborate with Planning, Quality, Engineering, and Maintenance to sustain continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• 5+ years manufacturing experience, preferably in a clean-room or controlled environment.
• Previous supervisory experience required; clean-room or semiconductor experience strongly preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred; equivalent technical or supervisory experience accepted.

Responsibilities

• Develop the daily production plan based on schedule requirements, labor, equipment, and material readiness.
• Lead Production Leads and Operators to meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives.
• Ensure adherence to SOPs, contamination-control practices, and clean-room requirements.
• Monitor safety, quality, and throughput; take corrective action as needed.
• Coordinate with Planning, Quality, Engineering, and Maintenance to manage flow and risks.
