ATI is seeking a Production Supervisor for our Albany, Oregon plant. This swing shift role (2 PM–10 PM, Mon-Fri) leads 10–15 direct reports, driving safety, quality, and continuous improvement across production lines.

The successful candidate will train and coach the workforce, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure alignment with labor agreements and standard work. Prior union experience and Lean principles are highly valued in this role.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 3 years of supervisory or leadership experience in manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in science, engineering, manufacturing, business or related field preferred.
• Union experience is highly preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Experience with LEAN manufacturing and continuous improvement concepts.

We are currently hiring a Production Supervisor for our manufacturing plant in Albany, Oregon. This is a swing shift position working 2 PM to 10 PM, Monday night through Friday night.

The Production Supervisor is a thought leader, a facilitator and a master problem solver. The Supervisor will lead processes and strategies to ensure that we are achieving conformance and producing quality product that meets our customer requirements and ATI goals and objectives.

The Production Supervisor will be responsible for leading teams of 10-15 direct reports with diverse personalities. You are responsible for training, coaching, motivating, and leading the production workforce to ensure safe and efficient operation of the production areas to produce high-quality material. In order to become successful and provide immediate impact, you will have to quickly learn ATI, the processes, and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including a unionized workforce, engineering, quality, and safety. Attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, a continuous improvement mindset, the ability to act quickly and make impactful decisions, and exceptional interpersonal skills are included in the skillset of a successful Supervisor.

Primary Responsibilities

• Work toward establishing a team environment that fosters a culture of Safety and Quality as the foundations of what we do.
• Plan and direct department activities to obtain safe and efficient operations.
• Apply Leadership skills to lead, motivate and train personnel.
• Monitor processes and tasks in order to identify problems and improvement opportunities.
• Identify, plan and lead improvement events.
• Facilitate and support cross functional problem-solving teams.
• Interpret and enforce policies while maintaining the provisions of the labor agreement.
• Apply the Task Standardization Process to assigned areas as well as to unplanned incidents required to prevent recurrence.
• Write new and correct existing documents to reflect current work practices.
• Establish systems for production management to sustain production goals with minimal intervention.
• Monitor and coordinate training to ensure tasks are completed as required by standard work and work instructions.
• Ensure strict adherence to both internal and external customer requirements and production schedules.

Basic Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent.
• A minimum of 3 years of supervisory or leadership experience in a manufacturing, military or in an industrial environment.

Preferred

• A Bachelor's Degree in Science, Engineering, Manufacturing, Business or related field is preferred.
• Supervisory experience in a union environment is highly preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• High attention to detail.
• Proficiency of Microsoft Office Software Suite, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Experience with LEAN manufacturing practices and continuous improvement concepts.

Salary Range: $64,000 to $83,000/annually +
