Production Supervisor is responsible for the safety, quality, training, development, and productivity of the personnel on their shift.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Leading the day-to-day operations of the cutting, finishing, and forming departments - Effectively managing the department for safe and efficient operation - Assessing the performance and training of operating personnel and determine areas for improvement - Providing training, development, and feedback for personnel - Analyzing department performance data to identify ongoing improvement opportunities - Enforcing safe work practices and leading daily safety discussions - Providing quality direction to personnel - Leading monthly department meetings, to include quality, productivity, process improvements, and safety
- 3-5 years supervisory experience preferred - Strong technical skills - Ability to develop and influence personnel - Strong leadership skills - Ability to solve process and production issues independently - Experience with lean manufacturing techniques - Excellent written and oral communication skills and computer knowledge - Must be able to work 3rd shift schedule (Sun-Thurs 9:30pm-6:30am), with some weekend work - Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required - Experience in the production manufacturing industry is a plus
