Pitney Bowes is now hiring for a full-time, direct hire position as a Presort Associate 3 Team Lead at our Arlington, TX facility.

Shift Details:

3rd shift: Tuesday - Saturday, 12:30 am - 8:30 am

Compensation:

Base Rate: $20.00/hour

$2.00/hour additional for 3rd shift

Position Overview:

You are someone who enjoys a fast-paced, physical production environment and wants to develop new skills in the mailing industry. You are a hardworking and vital contributor to our company's success in meeting productivity standards and customer satisfaction ratings.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of mail using MLOCR equipment.
  • Assign workers to appropriate equipment and tasks.
  • Set up machines and verify mail quality following QMS procedures.
  • Assist in USPS and production reporting as required.
  • Support warehouse tasks such as presorting and machine operation.
  • Oversee production workers in designated areas.
  • Report production and personnel issues to the supervisor promptly.
  • Maintain quality standards and ensure QMS procedures are followed.
  • Monitor processing pace to meet postal deadlines.
  • Suggest improvements for equipment use, working conditions, and employee motivation.
  • Minimize downtime and help meet or exceed site PFPLH metrics.
  • Ensure mail is prepared to meet acceptance times.
  • Assist customer service and operations teams with mail quality issues.

Trainer Responsibilities:

  • Train new employees and assign trainers.
  • Conduct orientation and presort certification training.
  • Coordinate employee engagement activities.
  • Support on-the-job training with site PALs.
  • Collaborate with management to identify training opportunities.
  • Answer employee questions and provide feedback on training progress.

General Requirements:

  • Maintain current certifications for Presort Academy; update as needed.
  • Follow safety and security policies.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Knowledge of Presort Operations and USPS regulations.
  • Ability to analyze reports and interpret business data.
  • Proficiency in English; other languages are a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Leadership ability to manage large groups.
  • Capable of physical tasks: standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs., and bending up to 80% of the time.
  • Dependable and reliable.
  • Willingness to work overtime, including weekends and holidays, with little notice.
