Job summary

Perdue Farms is seeking a Production Supervisor on 2nd shift in Georgetown, Delaware. The role oversees hourly teams in receiving, processing, production, and shipping to ensure safe, efficient operations and product quality. Strong leadership and adherence to USDA/QC standards are essential.

Salary ranges from $68,000 to $102,000 per year, with annual bonus potential and a comprehensive benefits package including health, 401(k), and disability coverage.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; 2-3 years manufacturing experience with 1+ year in supervision.
• Bachelor’s/Associate degree candidates with limited manufacturing experience must have at least 1 year supervisory experience.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with a focus on associate development.
• Familiarity with quality control processes and compliance standards (ISO/OSHA).

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to meet schedules and quality standards.
• Lead and support hourly associates across receiving, production, and shipping.
• Ensure safety, lean implementation and regulatory compliance on the floor.
• Collaborate with maintenance to minimize downtime and optimize productivity.
• Provide coaching and development to team members and drive engagement.
