Job summary

Perdue Farms in Prince George, Virginia is seeking a Production Supervisor for the 3rd shift to lead hourly teams across receiving, production, and shipping. You will drive safety, quality, and efficiency while ensuring a productive work environment and adherence to USDA/QA standards.

The role offers an annual salary range and comprehensive benefits, with a Thursday–Saturday and alternating Wednesday 6pm–6am schedule.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required;
• 2-3 years in manufacturing with 1+ year in supervision;
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills;
• Knowledge of quality control and regulatory standards (ISO/ OSHA)

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily production activities to meet schedules, output goals and quality standards.
• Collaborate with maintenance to monitor equipment performance and minimize downtime.
• Mentor and coach team members on skills and performance.
• Provide regular updates to management on production status and opportunities for improvement.
