Flex is seeking a seasoned CAR Operations Supervisor to lead daily Server RMA activities on 2nd shift in Memphis. You will oversee diagnostics, root cause analysis, and board-level repair, ensuring safety, quality, and customer satisfaction while coordinating with engineering and manufacturing teams.
Candidates should have 5+ years in electronics manufacturing, strong leadership, expertise in server architecture, SMT processes, and KPI reporting.

General Purpose: Responsible for leading the daily operations of the Center Analysis & Repair (CAR), ensuring safety, quality, productivity, repair effectiveness, failure analysis accuracy, and customer satisfaction. The CAR Supervisor manages teams performing server diagnostics, debugging, root cause analysis, board-level repair, and component replacement.
Bachelor's degree preferred/optional in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or related technical discipline. Equivalent technical education and relevant experience may be considered.
Minimum 5 years in electronics manufacturing, failure analysis, debug, repair, test or technical operations.
Advanced knowledge of electronics troubleshooting, board-level repair, root cause analysis, server architecture, SMT manufacturing processes, schematics, PCB layouts, diagnostics and repair methodologies.
Server repair and diagnostics; motherboard and level board repair; ASIC troubleshooting and replacement; CPU and microprocessor diagnostics and replacement; BGA troubleshooting; use of oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, power supplies and diagnostic equipment.
Strong people management, coaching, communication, conflict resolution and employee development skills. Advanced Excel preferred. Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook. Strong analytical and KPI reporting capability.
Lean Manufacturing experience; Six Sigma Green Belt preferred; IPC-A-610 knowledge; IPC-7711/7721 preferred; ERP/MES experience; Server RMA operation experience.
Debug Technicians, Repair Technicians, Failure Analysis Technicians and Production Specialists assigned to CAR operations.
First Pass Yield (FPY), Repair Yield, Failure Analysis Accuracy, Productivity, Turnaround Time (TAT), Cycle Time, Customer Escapes, Scrap, Labor Efficiency, Training Certification Compliance, Employee Retention and Safety Performance.
Strong technical leader with hands-on experience in server repair, board-level troubleshooting, failure analysis, ASIC and microprocessor repair, SMT processes, KPI management, and leadership in a high-volume electronics manufacturing environment.
