Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced manufacturing operations supervisor (Team Leader) to join our team. In this role, you will lead a talented group of manufacturing professionals, driving operational excellence and ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. Job Responsibilities
  1. Build and lead a highly engaged team; ensure they have what they need to succeed and keep them safe to deliver the highest quality aerospace transparencies on time.
  2. Create and sustain a culture aligned with our "Great Place to Work" values by role-modeling behaviors, motivating, and recognizing contributions.
  3. Supervise daily activities of staff to ensure manufacturing and control of parts, products, and materials meet quality and production standards.
  4. Lead teams to understand and achieve safety, quality, delivery, and productivity targets.
  5. Execute Daily Management and Standardized Work through Leader Standard Work.
  6. Provide performance appraisals, support, and coaching to close performance gaps.
  7. Offer opportunities for team members to leverage strengths and pursue personal development.
  8. Ensure a safety-first mindset and compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies.
  9. Collaborate with other Team Leaders for optimal performance.
  10. Drive team engagement and follow through on engagement actions.
  11. Comply with legal and regulatory requirements, including EEO, Affirmative Action, and Export Control regulations.
Required Qualifications
  1. High School Diploma or GED.
  2. 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  3. Ability to perform work subject to ITAR/EAR regulations.
Preferred Qualifications
  1. Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related fields.
  2. 2 years of production supervision experience.
  3. Experience supervising and leading production personnel.
  4. Experience in a unionized environment.
  5. Potential to lead, engage, train, and develop team members.
  6. Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement.
  7. Aerospace supply chain experience.
  8. Passion for aerospace industry.
Compensation Data

Range: $85,153 - $106,441
