About the Company

We are partnering with a well-established aerospace manufacturing company near the Long Beach area that is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead daily operations within a fabrication or subassembly production area. This role is ideal for someone with leadership experience who is looking for long-term career growth and the opportunity to take on more responsibility in a promotable environment.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and support hourly employees to meet production goals
• Manage daily Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC) metrics
• Oversee production flow across both 1st and 2nd shifts
• Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective actions in assembly, welding, and fabrication
• Monitor productivity through visual management tools and daily performance reviews
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure product quality and on-time delivery
• Enforce safety regulations and ensure compliance with labor agreements
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for team and departmental activities
• Support installation and maintenance of manufacturing equipment

Qualifications:

Required Skills:

• 3–5 years of supervisory experience, preferably in an aerospace manufacturing environment
• Experience in a unionized setting and with lean manufacturing principles is highly desirable
• Strong communication, planning, and organizational skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Experience with metal forming, machining, composite fabrication, and sub-assembly testing is a plus

Additional Information:

• Must be able to lift, push, or pull up to 35lbs.Frequent standing, walking, and use of a computer monitor
• This is an FAA safety-sensitive position. Pre-employment and random drug testing is required, including screening for THC, Cocaine, Amphetamines, Opiates, and PCP.
