Qualifications
- College or trade School graduate and/or a combination of High School diploma with minimum 5 years of hands-on Supervisory experience in a related field.
- Experience in Tier 1 automotive is a plus.
- Good working knowledge of assembly, production, and welding operations.
- Excellent English communication skills (oral and written).
- Proficiency in basic computer programs.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing, 5S, and the Occupational Health and Safety Act.

Responsibilities
- Manage shift personnel and their assigned work.
- Ensure product identification, traceability, process control, and packaging instructions are followed.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and procedures.
- Oversee first off, in-process, and last off procedures.
- Perform scheduled LPA and follow up on issues.
- Coordinate on-the-job training to meet productivity and efficiency targets within budget.
- Maintain inventory levels to meet production targets.
- Collaborate with other departments to prevent production interruptions.
- Train, develop, mentor, and discipline subordinates for a safe and competent workforce.
- Provide regular feedback and communicate policies and standards.
- Recommend employee confirmations or dispositions during probation.
- Ensure timely completion and documentation of training.
- Prepare management reports and performance updates.
- Maintain department tidiness and organization.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and PPE policies.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
