Job Description

We are seeking a Production Supervisor to join our company, a premier supplier, in Toledo, OH, US. Working in a clean, climate-controlled facility, you will have the opportunity to be directly involved in the evolution of the industry. • Standard Shift: Support for 2nd shift as a Group Leader in Production.

  Candidate will be required to work Monday through Saturday, including 3 to 4 weekends per month.

  Shift hours: 5 pm - 5:30 am.

  Pay rate: $38/hr.

Job Responsibilities:

The main function of a production supervisor is to supervise and coordinate the activities of production and operating workers.

• Recommend measures to motivate employees and to improve production methods, equipment performance, product quality, or efficiency.
• Review operations and confer with technical or administrative staff to resolve production or processing problems.
• Develop and implement production tracking and quality control systems, analyzing production, quality control, and maintenance to detect production problems.
• Hire, train, evaluate, and discharge staff, and resolve personal grievances.
• Prepare and maintain production reports and personnel records.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 2 years of automotive manufacturing experience required.
• Experience with problem-solving, continuous improvement, and good communication skills. Ability to collaborate in a team and make decisive decisions.
• Automotive experience is essential.
