PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR

Job Summary

The Production Supervisor position is responsible for leading Team Leaders while maintaining a positive working relationship with all team members. This role supports the Operations Manager and works with support groups such as materials, QSG, IT, etc.

Duties And Responsibilities

1. Lead and develop Team Leaders.
2. Coach and guide Team Members to be successful, productive, and help them achieve Company’s goals.
3. Ensure attendance entries on Timekeeping System are accurate for payroll.
4. Maintain communication with the Operations Manager on critical matters.
5. Coordinate with other lead managers through regular meetings.
6. Drive accountability for housekeeping, Hilo damage, and negligence.
7. Sustain company culture emphasizing quality, safety, efficiency, and cost improvements.
8. Follow company processes and ensure adherence to corrective actions, incident investigations, FIFO, Min/Max, etc.
9. Lead problem-solving efforts for quality issues and implement corrective actions.
10. Maintain respect and foster positive morale among peers and team members.
11. Ensure safety rules are followed, including PPE, safety glasses, stack heights, etc.
12. Be flexible with work schedule to cover vacations or overtime.
13. Perform other duties as assigned.

Education And Experience

• High School diploma
• 2+ years experience in automotive industry or leading teams

Travel

• Travel required: minimal

• Proficient in OSR/HMI for decision-making.
• Ability to build positive relationships with the Union.
• Problem identification and seeking help proactively.
