Graham Packaging in Joplin, Missouri is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead our C Shift manufacturing team. This role drives safety, quality, productivity and employee engagement while coaching hourly staff in a fast-paced environment.

You will analyze KPIs, manage shift performance, coordinate with support departments, and ensure compliance with GMP and company policies. The position features a rotating 12‑hour schedule with nights, weekends and holidays.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant manufacturing leadership experience.
• Minimum of two years of supervisory or management experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, develop, and hold employees accountable in a fast-paced production environment.
• Experience managing production, safety, quality, staffing, and performance metrics preferred.
• Knowledge of continuous improvement, root cause analysis and problem solving methods preferred.
• Experience with employee relations, performance management and development preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and manufacturing systems.
• Ability to analyze operational data and use KPIs to drive decisions.

• Provides direct leadership, coaching, and accountability for shift employees while fostering a culture of safety, quality, teamwork, respect, and continuous improvement.
• Responsible for employee performance management, including training, development, performance feedback, recognition, corrective action, and hiring recommendations.
• Serves as the primary shift leader for safety, quality, productivity, housekeeping, inventory and labor objectives.
• Promotes engagement through effective communication, conflict resolution, and consistent policy application.
• Uses KPIs and root cause analysis to identify improvements and drive actions for safety and efficiency.
• Maintains a visible production floor presence and collaborates with other departments to meet plant goals.
• Reviews and authorizes proper time records and manages temporary staffing to meet objectives.
• Supports schedule and operations changes with input from Production/Plant Manager.
