3rd Shift Position

Responsible for managing all operational and scheduling functions of the plant during the assigned shift. Employee is responsible for safety and food safety/quality.

1. Maintain the plant's safety standards by participating in monthly meetings, working with the Safety Committee and management to ensure hazards are corrected, and investigating accidents.
2. Maintain the plant's quality and sanitation standards by administering PQCs to achieve manufacturing excellence, participating in monthly meetings, and coordinating with the QC department on product issues.
3. Ensure production efficiencies on shift by effectively utilizing all shift resources (labor, materials, and management personnel) to meet or exceed the plant's production plan.
4. Manage shift operations to ensure material usage is within plant standards.
5. Coordinate changeovers, emergency repairs, and non-routine maintenance to ensure continuous product flow. Provide input on the development or modification of existing or new equipment.
6. Contribute to a cost-efficient environment through active involvement in the plant's cost reduction programs.
