About the Job

The Production Supervisor (PS) leads and coaches an in-house team and coordinates with external vendors to ensure on-time, quality readiness in a fast-paced, construction-oriented environment where safety is paramount. The PS ensures responsive, agile operations and that everyone goes home safely each day.

What You'll Be Doing
Safety/Environment
  • Comply with all WillScot Safety, Transportation, and Environmental Policies.
  • Manage employee/vendor health and safety through safety meetings, training, observations, and assessments.
  • Ensure operating standards are maintained with robust training and communication.
Operations
  • Ensure timely completion of work orders; review performance weekly; assess labor efficiency and capacity.
  • Conduct off-rents inspections, draft work orders, issue damage billing, relocate idle fleet, and conduct physical inventories.
  • Manage the Work Order system, develop strategies to keep variances below 10%, and track vendor purchase orders.
  • Order, receive, and distribute materials to support unit completion; conduct inventory counts.
  • Drive first-time quality and reduce 60-day service calls through root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Education and Qualifications
  • HS Diploma or GED; college degree preferred or industry experience considered.
  • 5+ years supervisory experience in manufacturing; Lean fundamentals experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Office/Outlook and SAP invoicing platform.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to safety, cost-effectiveness, and exceeding customer expectations.
  • Ability to foster a positive, team-oriented work environment.
