The Production Supervisor (PS) leads and coaches an in-house team and coordinates with external vendors to ensure on-time, quality readiness. This fast-paced, construction-oriented environment emphasizes safety. The PS ensures responsive, agile operations and that everyone goes home safely each day.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

• Ensure compliance with all WillScot Safety, Transportation, and Environmental Policies.
• Manage employee and vendor health and safety through creating a safer workplace, conducting daily safety meetings, DuPont STOP, training, observations, and regular assessments of the branch.
• Ensure operating standards are followed, supported by robust training and communication.

Operations

• Complete all work orders efficiently. Conduct weekly performance reviews and refine strategies. Perform labor efficiency assessments and capacity planning.
• Conduct timely off-rent inspections, draft accurate work orders, and issue damage billing as needed. Relocate idle fleet and perform work order assessments. Conduct physical inventories of the fleet.
• Manage the Work Order system, address inaccuracies (condition coding), and develop strategies to keep variances below 10%. Ensure work orders for idle fleet are accurate and less than 9 months old. Issue and track vendor purchase orders.
• Order, receive, and distribute materials/VAPS to support unit completion. Conduct monthly inventory counts of major parts, VAPS, and minor parts.
• Focus on first-time quality and reduce service calls within 60 days by working on root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• HS Diploma or GED; college degree preferred or industry experience considered.
• 5+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment; experience with Lean fundamentals preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office/Outlook.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to creating a safe, cost-effective work environment and exceeding customer expectations.
• Ability to foster a positive, team-oriented environment.
• Experience with SAP invoicing platform.
