Job summary

Foxconn Assembly, LLC in Houston, Texas, is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee frontline staff, schedule work, train and guide teams, and drive on-time, quality manufacturing.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma (Associate degree preferred), 2+ years in supervision in manufacturing, strong communication, and proficiency with Excel, SAP and Oracle. You will ensure safety, SOP compliance, and productive collaboration with Quality and Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead production personnel by providing supervision and training, scheduling work, resolving problems, and providing direction, discipline and evaluations.
• Identify staffing needs, interview, and recommend employee selection.
• Work toward the achievement of department, site, and company goals in production, quality, and other standards.
• Monitor and report daily production results, such as downtime, efficiencies, material shortage, and waste.
• Interact with other internal functional departments, such as Quality and Engineering, to solve issues and improve productivity.
• Ensure compliance to standards such as time and attendance, safety, SOP, and housekeeping practices.
• Apply expertise in resolving problems associated with production and procedures.
• Participate in productivity improvement projects.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
