Job summary

Foxconn Assembly, LLC is seeking a process engineer to provide production-line support, improve assembly processes, and participate in NPI initiatives. The role requires strong skills in line balancing, lean methods, and cross-functional collaboration to drive quality and productivity improvements.

The position is based in Houston, with in-office requirements and occasional on-site collaboration with test and quality teams.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Takt Time Analysis, Lean production methods, KanBan, and lean manufacturing.
• Understanding of quality systems such as Six Sigma.
• Knowledge of Manufacturing BOM (bill of material) structure.

Responsibilities

• Perform time studies and line balancing on assembly lines.

Overview

This position is responsible for providing process engineering support to the production lines and improving assembly processes.

Office located in Houston, not remote, hybrid; expected in office during workday.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform time studies and line balancing on assembly lines.

Education and Experience

• Minimum Associate’s degree with 2 years of process, industrial, or manufacturing engineering experience.


• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering preferred.


• Contract manufacturing experience is a plus.
