Job summary

Foxconn Assembly, LLC in the United States seeks a production supervisor to guide and develop manufacturing staff, ensuring on-time delivery, quality output, and strict adherence to safety and housekeeping standards.

You will lead, train, and evaluate workers; schedule shifts; identify staffing needs; monitor downtime and efficiency; work with Quality and Engineering to resolve issues, and participate in productivity improvement projects.

Qualifications

• High School diploma is required.
• 2 years’ experience in a supervisory role required.
• 2 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience leading and training production personnel.

Responsibilities

• Lead production personnel by providing supervision and training, scheduling work, resolving problems, and providing direction, discipline and evaluations.
• Identify staffing needs, interview, and recommend employee selection.
• Work toward the achievement of department, site, and company goals in production, quality, and other standards.
• Monitor and report daily production results, such as downtime, efficiencies, material shortage, and waste.
• Interact with other internal functional departments, such as Quality and Engineering, to solve issues and improve productivity.
• Ensure compliance to standards such as time and attendance, safety, SOP (standard operating procedures), and housekeeping practices.
• Apply expertise in resolving problems associated with production and procedures.
• Participate in productivity improvement projects.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
