Job summary

Foxconn Assembly, LLC is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee and guide manufacturing personnel to ensure on-time delivery and quality output. You will supervise, train, schedule, and evaluate staff while coordinating with Quality and Engineering to resolve issues and boost productivity.

Ideal candidates will have a High School diploma, 2 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing, and proficiency in Excel, SAP, and Oracle.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; Associate’s degree or equivalent preferred.
• 2 years’ experience in a supervisory role required.
• 2 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead production personnel by supervising and training, scheduling work, resolving problems, and providing direction.
• Identify staffing needs, interview, and recommend employee selection.
• Work toward department, site, and company goals in production, quality, and other standards.
• Monitor and report daily production results (downtime, efficiencies, material shortages, and waste).
• Interact with Quality and Engineering to solve issues and improve productivity.
• Ensure compliance to time and attendance, safety, SOPs, and housekeeping practices.
• Apply expertise in resolving problems associated with production and procedures.
• Participate in productivity improvement projects.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Lead production personnel by providing supervision and training, scheduling work, resolving problems, and providing direction, discipline and evaluations.
• Identify staffing needs, interview, and recommend employee selection.
• Work toward the achievement of department, site, and company goals in production, quality, and other standards.
• Monitor and report daily production results, such as downtime, efficiencies, material shortage, and waste.
• Interact with other internal functional departments, such as Quality and Engineering, to solve issues and improve productivity.
• Ensure compliance to standards such as time and attendance, safety, SOP (standard operating procedures), and housekeeping practices.
• Apply expertise in resolving problems associated with production and procedures.
• Participate in productivity improvement projects.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
