We are looking for an experienced leader to join our team as a Day Shift Production Supervisor (Monday through Thursday - 6:00am to 4:30pm). This individual will have a direct impact on our associates, supporting them to meet and exceed daily production targets. Ideal candidates will have at least three years of experience in a manufacturing supervisory role, excellent communication and people leadership skills, and a strong work ethic.
Essential Functions

Lead and manage day shift production operations with a hands-on, collaborative approach
Coach and support team members to help them succeed and grow
Ensure all safety, quality, and production goals are met or exceeded
Conduct daily safety and 5S inspections, holding the team accountable
Plan labor, materials, equipment, and training needs for daily operations
Work cross-functionally with receiving, quality, and planning teams
Track, analyze, and resolve manufacturing issues to drive continuous improvement
Champion LEAN manufacturing principles to streamline operations
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of processes and documentation requirements
Required Skills/Abilities
High school diploma required; associate’s degree or higher preferred
3+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
Strong leadership and communication skills
Analytical mindset with a problem-solving focus
Experience with LEAN manufacturing principles and continuous improvement philosophy
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Forklift certified or willing to become certified
Work Environment/Physical Demands/Travel
This job operates in a manufacturing environment around the use of heavy machinery and production equipment. The noise level in the work environment is typically moderate.
Must be able to reach, bend, and stand for hours at a time. Must be able to lift or move 50 pounds. Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities.
This is a full-time position, on-site at our manufacturing facility in Hazelwood, MO. The hours of work are Monday through Thursday, 6:00 am to 4:30 pm, 40 hours per week. There may be a need for occasional overtime on Fridays.
