Production Supervisor

Location: Cahokia, IL

The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the production operations of the business location to ensure that cylinder gas needs of both internal and external customers are satisfied.

• Pay range: $75,000 - $87,500 yearly (commensurate with experience)

What you will be doing (2nd shift):

• Ensure plant operations are conducted safely by promoting a safety culture, conducting incident investigations, and safety meetings.
• Maintain compliance with external regulatory agencies (FDA, DOT, EPA, OSHA, DHS) and company policies.
• Manage cylinder gas production according to customer requirements and schedule raw material delivery.
• Support distribution of products to ensure efficient, timely, and professional delivery to customers.
• Maintain stock levels of finished products and raw materials to meet production requirements and lead times.
• Monitor asset usage and recommend cylinder purchases or inventory increases as needed.
• Support security and upkeep of the location and equipment.
• Complete reports accurately and timely (inventory, expense, financial, KPI, payroll, work orders).
• Assist in implementing and revising Standard Operating Procedures.
• Drive productivity and process improvements to maximize plant efficiency.
• Develop talent through coaching, mentoring, and feedback to enhance employee performance.
• Motivate the team to meet metrics and goals by delegating tasks effectively.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What makes you great:

• High School Diploma/GED required; Bachelor of Science preferred.
• 1-2 years of supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience in production/distribution; industrial gas experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of regulatory agencies (FDA, DOT, OSHA, EPA).

• Proficient in Microsoft applications.
