Position: Production Supervisor

Location: Cahokia, IL

The Production Supervisor oversees the production operations at the location to ensure that the cylinder gas needs of both internal and external customers are met.

• Pay range: $75,000 - $87,500 yearly (commensurate with experience)

What you will be doing (2nd shift):

• Contribute to Linde's safety culture by ensuring safe plant operations, conducting incident investigations, and safety meetings
• Remain compliant with external regulatory agencies (FDA, DOT, EPA, OSHA, DHS) & company policies
• Manage cylinder gas production based on customer requirements and schedule raw material delivery
• Support distribution of products to ensure efficient, timely, and professional delivery
• Maintain stocking levels of finished products and raw materials
• Monitor asset usage and recommend cylinder purchases as needed
• Support security and appearance of the location and equipment
• Complete reports accurately and timely (inventory, expense, financial, KPI, payroll, work orders, etc.)
• Assist in implementing SOPs and revisions
• Drive productivity and improve work processes to maximize efficiency
• Develop talent through coaching, mentoring, and providing growth opportunities
• Motivate team to meet metrics and goals, delegating tasks to promote ownership
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

What makes you great:

• High School Diploma/GED required; Bachelor of Science preferred
• 1-2 years of supervisory experience preferred
• Production/distribution experience required; industrial gas experience preferred
• Knowledge of regulatory agencies (FDA, DOT, OSHA, EPA)
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Proficient in Microsoft applications
