Job summary

Carlex Glass Manufacturing in Auburn, IN is seeking a night-shift supervisor to lead a production team on a 12-hour 3-2-2 schedule (5:45pm–6:00am). Drive safety, quality, and efficiency across shifts; coordinate materials and maintenance tasks to meet production goals.

Requires 3+ years in manufacturing, a degree in Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering preferred, and strong analytical and 5S/lean skills. Flexibility to work weekends/holidays as needed is expected.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to lead meetings and coach crew members.
• Experience with safety, quality, and production processes.
• Knowledge of 5S, housekeeping and TS16949 requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead team meetings to communicate quality and production information.
• Coach crew in safety, performance, attendance, training, 5S and quality.
• Ensure clear communication of production, safety and quality across shifts.
• Coordinate work assignments and review operator data.
• Support materials planning, logistics, and payroll/attendance processing.
• Assist with preventive maintenance of equipment.
• Assist with compliance to TS16949 and other customer certifications.
