Job summary

CAMACO LLC is seeking a production supervisor for the 2nd shift (6pm to 4:30am, Monday–Friday) with potential weekend OT as needed. You will lead a group of production employees to meet quotas and deadlines, coach staff, and maintain a safe, efficient manufacturing environment.

You will drive quality, ensure policy adherence, and coordinate with teams to optimize processes. A bachelor’s degree and 4+ years in automotive manufacturing are expected.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience required.
  • 4+ years of experience in automotive manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of IATF16949 Quality Standards required.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a group of hourly production employees and oversee work activities.
  • Ensure productive, safe, and high-quality manufacturing operations.
  • Schedule work, assist with staffing, and review performance.
  • Maintain open communication between employees and management.
  • Compile and analyze production records for efficiency.
  • Oversee training schedules and ensure compliance with policies.

2nd Shift: 6pm to 4:30am, Monday - Friday, plus weekend OT as neededResponsible for leading a group of production employees in support of the production activities of the organization under demands of production quotas and deadlines. The department is structured as a formal team and requires the ability to work within the team.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.1. Manages a group of employees, oversee work activities and engage in various forms of communication and judgment.2. Ensure effective employee relations.3. Provides employee coaching and development.4. Schedule work, assist with employee selection, review employee performance and administer work rules.5. Responsible for productivity and quality management within the jobs span of control.6. Knowledge of IATF16969 quality standards7. Recommends equipment upgrades, staffing adjustments, and process modifications.8. Evaluates each station of the manufacturing process to ensure maximum efficiency.9. Maintain open lines of communication between employees and management.10. Ensures all resources and assets are used efficiently and correctly.11. Maintains adherence to established company policies and guidelines.12. Ability to model company appropriate behaviors and to set proper examples for subordinates.13. Maintains a clean and safe environment for all workers.14. Compiles and analyzes production records.15. Create and oversee an employee training schedule16. Perform other duties as assigned.QualificationsRequired Education & Experience1.
