Job summary

Carlex Glass Manufacturing is hiring for general production roles with a starting wage of $19.75 per hour. A shift commitment bonus can add up to $1 per hour based on attendance, bringing potential pay to $20.75 per hour.

The job includes loading/unloading parts, assembly, and various duties as assigned on a 12-hour shift schedule (3-2-2-3). Safety gear and procedures must be followed in a fast-paced glass manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to lift 45-50 lbs and stand for extended periods; comfortable in a hot, humid environment.

Responsibilities

• General Production responsibilities including loading and unloading parts, assembly and additional duties as assigned.
• Understand and follow work instructions and control plans.
• Operate machines and perform changeovers as needed.
• Conduct quality checks and input data into Quality system; input GMP data when required.
• Maintain an organized, clean work area (5S).
• Perform other department duties as directed by supervision.
