Overview

Lutron Electronics Co., Inc has an immediate opening for a 2nd shift Production Supervisor at our facility in Ashland, VA. In this position, you would be a key part of the Shading Solutions manufacturing team. A successful Production Supervisor will be interested in manufacturing, technology, have a high standard of performance and quality, and enjoy leading teams. Responsibilities include overseeing daily manufacturing output and developing team members.

Responsibilities

1. Lead teams to follow detailed work instructions to safely build and package quality products.
2. Lead teams to assemble custom products to meet customer needs.
3. Manage materials transactions using our inventory management system.
4. Maintain all production equipment and facilities during the shift.
5. Coordinate with supply chain and distribution teams to complete customer orders.
6. Develop team members and production Leads in their skills and career growth.
7. Align with Lutron’s culture and values: be passionate, flexible, innovative, customer-focused, and ethical.

Qualifications

1. Ability to work 2nd shift (Mon-Fri, 2:00pm to 10:30pm).
2. Associate or bachelor’s degree in engineering, operations, or related field preferred; or 5+ years supervision experience in manufacturing.
3. For those with less than 4 years of experience, a degree with a GPA of 3.0 or higher is required.
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
5. Proven problem-solving skills.
