Job summary

Perdue Farms seeks a Production Superintendent to lead multiple production lines and align safety, quality, and productivity with plant goals. You’ll coach Supervisors, drive continuous improvement, and develop talent while maintaining a strong safety culture.

Responsibilities include mentoring teams, executing lean initiatives, and ensuring compliance with HACCP, GMP, OSHA, and ISO standards. This role reports to plant leadership and supports operations across shifts.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in a manufacturing environment with 2–4 years in a supervisory role (HS Diploma).
• Bachelor’s/Associate’s degree candidates: 1–3 years manufacturing experience and 2–4 years supervisory experience.
• Strong leadership, communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Proficiency in lean manufacturing, root cause analysis and ERP systems.
• Knowledge of quality control processes and compliance standards (ISO, OSHA).
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational and time management skills.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, lead and support Production Supervisors in achieving daily and weekly production targets.
• Support workforce planning and succession development for a strong leadership pipeline.
• Mentor and coach team members to improve performance and growth.
• Foster an inclusive culture and promote associate engagement and retention.
• Act as Plant Manager when needed and contribute to strategic planning.
