Job summary

Perdue Farms is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead hourly teams across receiving, production, and shipping, ensuring finished products move smoothly and safely through the warehouse. You will champion quality, safety, and regulatory standards while driving productivity and engagement on the floor.

The role emphasizes leadership, adherence to HACCP/GMPs, and lean principles to reduce waste and improve efficiency. Experience in a manufacturing setting with 2nd shift availability is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED and 2–3 years in manufacturing with 1+ year in a supervisory role.
• Bachelor’s/Associate degree candidates with no manufacturing experience must have at least 1+ year supervisory experience.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with a focus on associate development.
• In-depth knowledge of quality control processes and compliance standards (ISO, OSHA).
• Willingness to learn lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational and time management skills.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Must be available to work 2nd shift hours.

Responsibilities

• Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Lead and supervise hourly associates across production areas including receiving, processing, and shipping.
• Collaborate with maintenance to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance.
• Drive lean manufacturing initiatives to improve productivity and reduce costs.
• Maintain accurate production records and provide updates to management.
