Job summary

Hunter Recruiting seeks a Production Supervisor to lead shift operations in a Waxahachie, TX plant. You will direct hourly associates, reinforce safety, and ensure performance aligns with plant goals, quality, and delivery commitments.

The role emphasizes coaching, talent development, and proactive problem-solving through root-cause analysis and TPM practices. A Bachelor’s degree and Lean/CI experience are preferred to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing, distribution, or military settings.
• Experience leading teams, making high-impact decisions, and developing talent in a fast-paced environment.
• Lean, TPM, or continuous improvement experience strongly preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field preferred.
• Strong communication skills and safety-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead shift operations and ensure safety, quality, delivery, cost, productivity, and engagement.
• Coordinate and verify safety training, monthly safety initiatives, and incident follow-up actions.
• Coach team members on safe work practices and ensure compliance with standards.
• Communicate customer expectations and ensure production schedules support delivery and quality requirements.
• Investigate quality issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Drive TPM and continuous improvement efforts, including Autonomous Maintenance and Focused Improvement activities.
• Lead, coach, and develop hourly associates through clear performance expectations and training plans.
• Support cost reduction, productivity improvement, and waste elimination through standard work and planning.
