TPI Composites in Newton, IA is seeking a Shift Leader to act as the senior operations leader on the plant floor, guiding manufacturing during the assigned shift to meet safety, quality, and productivity targets.

You will coach Production Supervisors and Team Leads, drive continuous improvement with Lean and Kaizen, and collaborate with Quality, Maintenance, Safety, Engineering, HR, and Supply Chain to deliver the production plan.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred; equivalent combinations of education and leadership experience will be considered.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience, including 3 years leading supervisors and large production teams.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing operations, scheduling, KPI management, and resource optimization.
• Experience utilizing Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, root cause analysis, and problem-solving techniques.
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards.
• Demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing teams through coaching and development.
• Strong leadership capabilities, including decision-making and communication.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

• Lead all manufacturing operations during the assigned shift, ensuring safe and productive execution of the production schedule.
• Provide leadership and development to Production Supervisors and Team Leads while maintaining accountability for shift performance.
• Drive key operational metrics including Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Productivity, and Employee Engagement.
• Promote a safety-first culture through compliance, incident investigations, risk mitigation, and corrective actions.
• Coordinate staffing, materials, equipment, and support resources to maximize effectiveness and minimize downtime.

• Collaborate with Quality, Maintenance, Safety, Engineering, HR, and Supply Chain to achieve objectives.
• Lead shift communication processes including Tier meetings and production reviews.
