Job summary

Owens Corning in Waxahachie, TX is seeking a Production Shift Leader to oversee a rotating shift and drive safe, reliable operations. You will lead 15+ team members, ensure production targets are met, and uphold quality and customer service standards.

Responsibilities include safety leadership, lean improvements, and coaching to reduce waste while maintaining a high level of housekeeping and teamwork. A strong focus on safety, quality, and cost targets will enable continuous plant performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years work experience in manufacturing or related environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Six Sigma Green Belt or CI experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead operations and 15+ personnel assigned to rotating shift.
• Drive workgroup to achieve zero injuries / safety incidents.
• Resource shift to meet production schedules.
• Maximize quality and quantity delivered to warehouse to satisfy customer needs.
• Minimize controllable costs.
• Sustain high levels of product quality, with a target of zero quality defects or complaints.
• Communicate expectations and hold team members accountable for delivering exceptional performance results.
• Foster an environment that promotes teamwork and inclusion.
• Maintain plant housekeeping expectations.
