Job summary

BD in Columbus, NE is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor to lead associates on the production floor, driving safety, quality and on-time production. You will coach teams, manage staffing plans, and ensure adherence to BD policies and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities include daily production operations, coaching for performance, coordinating with Planning, and tracking metrics to meet schedules.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Associates degree preferred; in lieu of degree, 3 years supervisory experience.
• 3 years people-leading experience and 3 years manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead 75% of time on the production floor leading associates.
• Staffing and training plans within the department.
• Provide regular, timely feedback to associates and maintain safety/quality standards.
• Collaborate with Production Planning to establish schedules and monitor performance.
• Track production metrics and communicate progress to management.
