Job summary

Northern Gold Foods Ltd in Junction City, Oregon is seeking a Production Shift Lead to coordinate and manage the production team, ensuring daily objectives are met and on-floor operations run smoothly when a supervisor is unavailable.

You will lead a crew during night shifts (4x10 hours Monday–Thursday or 3x12 hours Friday–Sunday), uphold safety and quality standards, facilitate briefings, and collaborate with Quality, Maintenance, and Warehouse teams.

Qualifications

• Detail oriented and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage a team of Production Operators to meet daily objectives.
• Ensure production activities follow quality control and safety standards.
• Handle production reporting: efficiency, waste, and time management.
• Orientate new employees to processes and policies.
• Troubleshoot process issues and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate with Quality Control, Maintenance, and Warehouse teams.
• Operate production line equipment and follow written recipes.
• Sanitize equipment and work area.
• Document records to verify quality specifications.
